All training is performed on up-to-date equipment, so you will not be left behind. This includes tractors and trailers with ABS brakes. Our equipment ranges from manual, 18 speed transmission trucks, to automatic transmissions to enhance the Class 1 and Class 3 learning experience.

Truck Driving Courses

  • Class 1 M.E.L.T.

    As of March 1, 2019 the MELT Program is mandatory for all new Class 1 drivers. If you obtained your Class 1 driver’s licence between October 10, 2018 and February 28, 2019 inclusive you must pass the enhanced knowledge and road tests by March 1, 2020.

  • Class 1 Experience And Equivalency M.E.L.T Training

    Beginning January 1, 2021, all drivers wanting to obtain their Class 3 to class 1 licence must complete the Experience and Equivalency mandatory entry- level training course.

    • 6 hours of in-truck training
    • 10-hour air brake course
    • Total: 16 Hours
    • Completion time is approximately 1 week

    The air brake course is a full day course, offered three times per week. It is comprised of a classroom theory and a practical part.
